Sunday the 20th Feb will see the BMX FOR FLOODS JAMs being held right across the entire country!
This is a fundraising event! It's an opportunity for everyone with a love of BMX and riding to get together and sacrifice something for people that have lost so much! There has been an enormous amount of product donated! Alot of this stuff will go on sale at the event!
Grips, Pedals, Stickers, Shirts, Hats all cheap with 100% of the money going to the cause!
There is a Raffle! $5 a ticket or 3 for $12! with prises of a Custom complete bike, a fork and bar combo and shirt and sticker pack! amazing prises worth well over $2000 on their own!
Participation on the day will require a donation as well and there will be food and drinks available to buy with ALL of that money also going to the cause!
Because of the amazing generosity of many companies around Australia every cent that comes out of your pocket on the day will go to the Premier's Disaster Relief Fund. (this is a registered event)
The national target for this event is $20000! and with 9 locations our share in Darwin is at least $2000! and this would only just match the donations made to make this day happen! So definitely dig deep! Raid your change collect! raid the ashtray in ya car! scrap as much together as you can so Darwin can stand up with the rest of Australia's BMXers!
So please come out to the Rapid Creek Watergardens Sunday 20th Feb and support Bmx supporting natural disaster victims! and help Darwin stand up with the rest of the country for the great cause!
