FLOOD JAM 2.0 - SUNDAY 6TH MARCH

flood jam... getting respect.

The BMX FOR FLOODS jam went down at Rapid Creek on Sunday 20th with a great turnout and amazing vibe all through the day! We even attracted plenty of non-bmx related spectators and no less than 4 different photographers stopping by! We raised $1680 for the cause but we consider this to be a running total because more donated product showed up in the week after the event and bad weather kept a few (soft) people away!... definitely an amazing total for such a small city with more to come! A special mention needs to be made to Mags Hnarris, Paul Bennett and Chris Youell for their efforts on the day! It could not have happened without them. The event made the statewide paper, the NT News and i even received a personal letter from the NT Parliament's leader of the opposition, Terry Mills MLA.

please go to the EPIC MOMENTS website to purchase photos from the event!
(50% of profit goes to charity as well!)

THIS SUNDAY 20th FEB!

still watching the weather. woke up this morning to massive amounts of rain...
it's still just sitting on our head.

good times, bad times...

just a few more from Rapid Creek...
this is at my house...
this is at the shops where i bought dinner tonight.
i had to park out on the street and walk into the carpark
as it was slightly blocked.
BUT... Good news... the Prison Clean-up Crews were in full effect today getting things sorted.
They might not have sorted Parap Shops but they cleaned the parklands where our event will be held! hahaha
The Territory Wide Newspaper NT NEWS even came down today and shot photos for a story!
carpark is a bit stuffed with potholes but they filled most of them...

so it looks like if this weather moves away we are all set!!!... here's just some of the product available on the day! remember that every cent you spend goes to charity!

BE THERE!
                     PROMO POSTER                                               RAFFLE PRISES

2 more days!!!... see you all on Sunday!

rapid creek watergardens. WATER gardens.

and the water is still rising.

but this IS a flood zone and does flood over from time to time...
if they can clear all the trees we might still have an event on sunday.
half the product donation won't arrive but
because all flights are cancelled so all mail and freight will de delayed until next week.

NOT THE SPOKES VAN!!!

having a few dramas of our own right now....

bad times until at least friday by this prediction.
