the other weekend we went for a roll around in Darwin City and Wayne told me about this drop off he wanted to do... this photo isn't posed. Wayne actually spent some time looking and considering this drop. (he stood there long enough for me to grab my phone and take this photo! hahaha)

if you know Wayne then you know he is serious... time will tell.

I can remember when COLONY first started up... i bought a set a Unlucky13 bars from the first batch (with a grey fade) from Crosley Cycles in brisbane and got them mailed up. They've come a long way since then and grown to one of the biggest companies in BMX (in Aus and Worldwide)

Hayden came up and rode in Darwin at christmas... dude shreds!

ROBBO TRAILS!

It's getting to that time of year when trails can rule supreme!

I always read about North American and European trails being unrideable for much of the year with snow during winter but nothing can compare to the total destruction that hard, heavy, constant rain will do to dirt... it destroys bitumen roads so what chance do piles of soil have...

Still somehow the trails seem to have survived this year!... it would usually have stopped raining by now but it's mid april and still it's coming down! All the same we checked out the situation down there with amazing over-growth all through the place! 

Tom takes to the power tools to free the jumps from nature's grip.

All seems well but the hard work of having running jumps will always remain!

Still... we can't wait! hope to see you there!

I while ago i had the privilege of visiting Stowaway Distribution in Adelaide... posted on the wall was a little picture that someone had faxed through to the boys! I took one look and knew who it was about! But when i asked "who drew this picture of Kie??" the boys had to tell me, "He drew it of himself!" hahaha... i laughed so hard!

Apparently K-Ashworth keeps the guys amused with crazy cartoons and drawings all the time... randomly blowing up the FAX machine with them!... so there's nothing more personal then winning Kie's own custom bike by doing what he does! So give the FAX machine at Australia's best distro a workout!
